You’ll find much of my work published in the Cleveland Plain Dealer where I’ve produced hundreds of feature stories and have served as society correspondent since 2004. Intimate at-home-with portraits, off-beat profiles and enlightening spotlights about ordinary people doing extraordinary things highlight my portfolio of work.
As director of marketing and content for Mongoose Metrics, I am actively involved in building a library of content for the company's e-marketing initiatives around call tracking.
On quiet days I often write about the latest discoveries in the field of medicine for Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine or the importance of finding the right kitchen renovation contractor for Pohly & Company custom publications.
My freelance journalism career has also taken me into the classrooms of urban poverty for the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, chasing a Gotti-family mobster across Greater Cleveland for the New York Post and writing internationally-published books about architecture and ships for Seattle-based book packager, Becker & Mayer.
In 2007 I dove into the world of custom magazine publishing as content director for the Plain Dealer’s custom publishing division. We produced luxury lifestyle, glossy magazines as well as image books for local municipalities.
Presently, I am serving as director of marketing and content for Mongoose Metrics, an enterprise-level, call tracking company as well as working on writing projects for Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Plain Dealer.
